You are not far from the fabulous beaches, local shopping and night life offered on the Gold Coast. With the scenic national parks and arts and craft village of Tamborine Mountain close by, there is so much to see and do.

Southern Cross Retirement Village is still just 30 minutes from the heart of Brisbane City.

It is an established retirement village, boasting beautiful gardens, close proximity to public transport and shares a wonderful relationship with the residents and staff of the co-located Connolly Court Hostel. Co-location means that if your partner needs a level of aged care before you, he or she will be able to access the aged care facility and the two of you will not be separated.

Residents enjoy services such as the hair dressing salon and a professional Doctor’s consulting room within the grounds of the retirement village.

Opportunities to socialise and form friendships are easy within the retirement village our fully equipped Community Centre offers residents a range of activities, including:

  • Craft rooms.

Special events and get togethers are regularly organized by the residents committee and this enable residents to enjoy companionship with residents with similar interests. Southern Cross Retirement Village has its own resident bus, so events are also organized off site.
