Karinya
Southern Cross Care Karinya is based at Nanango, inland from Maroochydore, near Kingaroy. It is a 41 bed aged care facility, only recently joining the Southern Cross Care (Qld) family. The facility provides cottage style accommodation, providing a very homely culture.
The central facilities include a chapel and family room, community dining room and comfortable lounge areas. Each cottage has a large multipurpose function room. There is an onsite laundry service
At Karinya the Southern Cross Care (Qld) residents enjoy enthusiastic support from the local community volunteers, who light up the daily lives of our residents.
There is some ability to provide Ageing in Place in consultation with the manager, but there is limited high care capacity.
