Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is pleased to welcome Gabriel Moyo to the position of Residential Manager, St Mary’s Raceview.
Gabriel, a registered nurse in Australia since 2004, has 16 years of experience in the aged care, residential care and acute care settings. Previously, Gabriel has worked with Catholic Healthcare, the Salvation Army and Micare in the roles of Care Manager and Clinical Co-Ordinator and is experienced in Clinical Management. Gabriel says that working with older people is his passion.
In taking on a leadership role with SCCQ, Gabriel says he believes in leading by example to create a harmonious and safe environment for older people. He is focused on ensuring that residents at St Mary’s Raceview are the priority in everything he and his team do and he’s also passionate about recognising the exceptional work of staff at St Mary’s Raceview.
Gabriel is looking forward to getting to know the residents and families at St Mary’s Raceview and building strong relationships with the community.
When not at work, Gabriel loves spending time with his wife and two primary school-aged children, who keep him on his toes.
Gabriel started in his new position on 10 August and says that he’s thrilled to be joining the Southern Cross Care family. Please join us in welcoming Gabriel to St Mary’s Raceview.
