Tara (Tarcoola) is located 3.5 hours west of Brisbane, an hour and a quarter west of Dalby and a 45 minute drive south of Chinchilla. It offers accommodation for up to 33 residents in a lovely community with access to a wide range of care services and social activities.

Accommodation Options

The cost of your care includes an Accommodation Cost and a Basic Daily Fee. The amount you are required to pay for your care will be determined by a Government assessment of your assets and income.

Payment of the Accommodation Cost can be made a number of ways including, a one off, upfront Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), or a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP), or a combination of both. The Accommodation Costs provided below are based on the maximum room price that you may be required to pay and this may change depending on your Government assessment.

You will also be required to pay the Basic Daily Fee to help cover the costs of your daily living. This fee is set by the Government and is up to 85% of the Australian single Age Pension.
