If you or your loved ones need some extra support before the busy Christmas holiday season, we are here to help. Our respite care services at Leichhardt Villa (Taroom) and Tarcoola (Tara) provides short-term care for your loved one when you need a break.

For a limited time only, you can book a short-term respite stay at Leichhardt Villa or Tarcoola at no cost to you. We’ll waive the daily care fee resulting in no out of pocket care expenses.

Conditions apply: 

• Offer is valid for residents entering Leichhardt Villa or Tarcoola residential aged care homes between 1 October 2023 and 31 December 2023.
• Must be a minimum 7-day stay and maximum 14-day stay. Daily care fee will apply for any additional days over the 14-day maximum stay.
• Subject to room availability and Southern Cross Care Queensland’s admissions process, procedure and requirements.
• Must meet health and eligibility requirements for respite care and possess an ACAT assessment for admission.
• Must have sufficient subsidised respite care days available for the duration of your stay.
• ‘No out of pocket care expenses’ refers to the daily care fee being waived. Other personal expenses such as medication costs are at the resident’s expense.
