The Retirement Living Code of Conduct is a commitment to high standards and exceeding the expectations of residents. It was created to set out a standard for operators providing high quality services to people living in and considering moving into a retirement community.

There are several key areas to the Code including:

Values and integrity

We commit to acting fairly and with integrity at all times and to comply with the relevant codes and laws.  We will also proactively and respectfully manage feedback and / complaints and ensure that we maintain a complaints-management system and handle complaints in a timely manner.

Moving into a retirement community

We will ensure our sales and marketing material is honest, current, clear, accurate and complies with relevant laws.  We will ensure we provide prospective residents with all the information they need before they move in including information on costs and key services in a clear, transparent manner.

Living in the community

We will ensure we provide and maintain the facilities for our residents and comply with all relevant legislation to ensure our residents are able to live their best lives. We will ensure our staff are trained and supported to deliver high quality services.

Leaving the community

If a resident leaves the community for whatever reason, we will respectfully and clearly communicate the move out process with their family members / representatives.  During the marketing / resale of the unit, we will pay the resident’s exit entitlement within the timeframe and according to the resident contract and relevant laws.

Retirement Living Code of Conduct

We are dedicated to ensuring we provide high standards to enable communities were best lives are lived.  We ensure that everything we do is aligned with the Retirement Living Code of Conduct.
