The doors swung open, and the welcome was as warm as ever at our Retirement Village Open Days recently. Our Noosa Waters and Caloundra Rise Retirement Estates on the Sunshine Coast, along with The Vines Retirement Village in Mildura, VIC were buzzing with energy, drawing enthusiastic crowds across three events.
From the moment guests arrived, they were treated to guided tours of our spacious, modern villas, leafy landscaped grounds and inviting community spaces. The relaxed atmosphere allowed them to wander at their own pace, chat with staff and hear firsthand from residents about the friendships, social activities and sense of belonging that make life in the villages so fulfilling.
“We were thrilled with the turnout and the interest shown by the community,” said Mandy Julian, Retirement Living Manager at Caloundra Rise. “It was wonderful to see so many people imagining themselves living here and engaging with our residents and staff. The energy and curiosity of our visitors really made the day special.”
Local businesses, including Move on Consciously and Thompson Legal, joined in to support the Sunshine Coast events, further highlighting the strong connections each village has with its surrounding community. Feedback from all three Open Days was overwhelmingly positive. Guests were impressed not only by the modern facilities but also by the warm, welcoming spirit that defines our villages. Many left with information packs in hand and plan to return for personal consultations.
