Southern Cross Care QLD (SCCQ) were proud to be a major sponsor at the Archdiocesan Summit 2023, a three-day event held at the Riverlife Centre in Brisbane’s west, filled with keynote speakers, workshops, panel discussions, expo exhibits, prayer and Eucharist.
The event was the principal gathering of the faithful in the Catholic Archidocese of Brisbane, with an open invitation from Archbishop Mark Coleridge to all who belong to the archdiocese’s faith community.
For SCCQ, it was a great opportunity as an event sponsor to share with delegates some information about our mission, our services, and our founding Knights of the Southern Cross, from our expo stand.
Over 600 people attended the event and came from a broad cross-section of the local Church, with parishioners, educators, parents, support staff, catechists, lay leaders, religious and clergy all represented.
Archbishop Mark Coleridge also addressed his seven Apostolic Priorities for the Archdiocese, with the aim to empower, equip and inspire delegates in the mission of the church. It was a great event instilling a sense of hope and optimism for the future.
