Grow your skills through ongoing on-the-job training supported by coaching and practical learning tools. You can also access First Aid training, apply for our Bursary Program, and progress through our Traineeship Pathway.
We incorporate a strong focus on continuous learning and development that extends beyond initial training. There are a number of learning tools that you will have access to including toolbox talks, face to face training, external partnerships, coaching, and skill-building exercises integrated into daily work activities. With ongoing on-the-job training, you can deepen your expertise, stay updated on industry trends and refine your abilities over time.
Speak with your Manager or Learning & Development (L&D) Partner to find out more about ongoing on-the-job training that is relevant for you.
While First Aid training is not mandatory for aged care, we offer it as a valuable resource equipping you with essential life-saving techniques, such as CPR, empowering you to respond effectively to emergencies, whether at work or in your community.

To apply, log in to Southern Cross Connect (IntelliHR) via the Intranet, then fill out the EOI for SCC Bursary Program found in the Form Library.
